Dave Harry, Managing Director
Dave is an accomplished construction professional with over 25 years of experience in both new build and heritage sectors. Beginning his career as a trainee Quantity Surveyor with a Tier 1 contractor, Dave quickly rose through the ranks, earning recognition for his talent and leadership. At just 25, he was appointed Managing Quantity Surveyor for the prestigious GMP Headquarters in Bury, becoming the youngest ever to hold the role at Birse Build. His success led to subsequent promotions to Commercial Manager, Commercial Director, and ultimately Managing Director.
Dave’s expertise spans design and build management, commercial strategy, bid and BIM management, and operations leadership. He has written and implemented company BIM and operational policies, trained teams, and fostered a collaborative culture across both office and site environments. Passionate, tenacious, and detail-oriented, Dave is a respected leader known for his integrity and strategic insight. With a strong background in project cost management across major heritage, public, leisure, and education sector projects in the North West, he ensures robust financial oversight, programme management, and stakeholder engagement. Dave holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying, HNCs in Building Law & Economics and Building Studies, and is DBS enhanced and CSCS Manager certified.
Pete Jamieson, Contract Director
Peter is our most senior Contracts Director and the sector lead for historic buildings, bringing over 40 years of specialised experience in heritage extension, restoration, conservation and refurbishment. With a trade background in the building conservation industry, Peter combines hands-on expertise with deep technical knowledge to deliver cost-effective solutions with minimal disruption to listed and sensitive structures. His leadership ensures seamless coordination across all phases of construction, maintaining compliance with performance specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
Peter plays an active and visible role on-site, supporting the site team and Contracts Manager to uphold contractual obligations, manage subcontractors, and maintain project momentum. A natural communicator with a strong client focus, Peter attends regular progress meetings and remains readily accessible to address any emerging needs. His collaborative approach with clients, design teams, conservation officers, architects and operatives alike ensures clarity, cohesion, and successful delivery within budget and programme constraints. Peter brings a rare combination of practical skill and technical insight to every project. His deep understanding of traditional construction methods allows him to deliver cost-effective, sensitive solutions that preserve the integrity of listed and historic structures.
His credentials include a CSCS Gold Heritage Card, SMSTS, Lime Mortar Training, Asbestos Awareness, and Enhanced DBS certification.

Business Operations Manager
Pam is a seasoned Business Operations Manager with over 17 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly within the heritage sector. Known for her versatile skill set and pragmatic leadership style, Pam has consistently driven efficiency and operational excellence across all facets of business support—from finance and procurement to HR, compliance, and health & safety. As a key member of senior management, she has played a pivotal role in business development, overseeing tender quality submissions and social value strategies for high-value projects exceeding £700k.

Her background in psychology and education complements her leadership in staff development, training, and team-building. Adept at adapting to change and managing complex operations, Pam is passionate about creating value, streamlining systems, and helping organisations thrive. Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Ben brings valuable commercial expertise and in-depth experience in the heritage and construction sectors to every project. With over four years of experience in historic building restoration and refurbishment, Ben plays a key role in financial reporting, budget control, and procurement processes to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. His expertise in cost management allows for effective forecasting and ensures that all financial aspects are aligned with the project’s programme and scope. Ben has built an excellent reputation within the commercial team, where his honest and approachable style has earned the trust of clients and consultants alike.
As a dedicated project Quantity Surveyor, Ben supports the site team by providing guidance and ensuring all contractual obligations are met. He has contributed to the cost management of numerous historic projects throughout the North West, the Lake District, and Wales, making him a key asset in managing the commercial aspects of complex heritage and civil engineering projects. Ben’s collaborative approach and attention to detail ensure that each project is delivered efficiently, aligning with both the client’s goals and project requirements.
